I made this hat for one of my sister's Goldens...she was such a sweet model. She didn't even want to eat the hat until we were done! lol. thanks Kate and scarlett!!!

New Year, New Marriage...

I was so priviledged to have been asked to spend New Years Eve (their wedding day!)with this amazing couple. The cold weather stayed away so that we were able to get some outdoor photos, but we also had a great time doing a shoot in the incredible Selkirk Manor. Thanks again Leena and Jesse, and congratulations!!!

Twins, Pictures and Crochet....the story of my life!

As mentioned before, I've taken up a not-so-new anymore hobby of crocheting! I'm actually coming up on the one year anniversary of when i posted a picture of the first hat i made, and got 5 orders for it! I taught myself to crochet using youtube and other internet videos, and can't believe the success i've had selling my creations. Here's a showcase of my 3 favourite things...my twins, taking pictures and my crochet work! (i would also like to mention that i love my honey who gave me my twins, and supports me in taking all these pictures and making all these hats...you're a "favourite thing" too)

Sweet sweet baby K....

So, I'm going to admit that newborn baby photos make me nervous. I had a friend looking for some newborn photos, and i promised her i would "try". I don't trust myself. I've looked up a lot on safe posing for babies and lighting (that i just don't have yet!) and keeping the baby warm...but i am my worst critic, and was just never really happy with the way they turned out. I think i'm on my way to getting there though...and i want to show these one's off. Plus, i want to thank Maeghan for letting my practise on her beautiful baby girl!

Better late than never?

A little late, and after the season ended, I was able to take my twins out for a little festive photo shoot. I had a "bright" idea to sit them in a chair outside, seeing as it was kind of nice outside this morning, but by time I got around to it this afternoon, the wind picked up and it was pretty chilly! Got a cute one of Molly before heading over to Thunder Bay's Conservatory to finish the shoot with both kids....Here's a peek!
